Established in 1966, the Hong Kong Trade Development Council (HKTDC) is the international marketing arm for Hong Kong-based traders, manufacturers and service providers. With 50 offices globally, including 13 in Mainland China, the HKTDC promotes Hong Kong as a platform for doing business with China and Asia.
The HKTDC organizes international exhibitions, conferences and business missions to create business opportunities for companies, particularly small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), in the mainland and international markets. The HKTDC also provides up-to-date market insights and product information via trade publications, research reports and digital news channels.
The HKTDC's mission is to create opportunities for Hong Kong companies. We focus on delivering value by promoting trade in goods and services, while connecting the world's small-and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) through Hong Kong's business platform. In striving to be the best trade promotion organisation in the world, the HKTDC is committed to:
- Developing and expanding new frontiers by exploring, learning and innovating.
- Building on Hong Kong's economic success through global business.
- Creating and delivering value to our customers.
