California Coastal Rural Development Corporation (Cal Coastal) is a California chartered nonprofit public-benefit corporation servicing the financial needs of small businesses and farmers.

The corporation provides direct loans and loan guarantees to businesses located on the Central Coast through our offices located in Salinas and Santa Maria. Cal Coastal funds these specialized lending facilities allowing their clients the ability to grow their businesses.  Although we serve a wide variety of business sectors, our primary emphasis with all of our programs is to provide necessary capital to businesses and thereby create employment.

 

Loan Programs

Cal Coastal currently operates 8 loan programs which include the following. The typical loan range is from $5,000 to $5,000,000, and can be utilized for building purchase, machinery and equipment, inventory, or working capital. These loan products allow businesses/farmers to get the boost they need to expand and grow into successful enterprises that help to strengthen the economy and create new jobs.
