Los Angeles Venture Association (LAVA) is the oldest, most successful organization focused on the financing of companies from startup to exit.
Founded in 1985, when the legendary entertainment pioneer Robert Redford inspired its inception, LAVA today represents the mesh network of the many varied communities that make up the greater Los Angeles startup venture ecosystem. Through its programs, boards, committees and events, LAVA strives to facilitate more efficient communication, collaboration and deal making throughout the ecosystem.
LAVA’s role is simple: to support all facets of the ecosystem in an effort to make connecting, information sharing, and especially deal-flow more efficient and effective. And for out of town guests, LAVA should be their first stop to find guidance how to navigate the ecosystem.
Join our network of entrepreneurs, executives, and investors in early forming, emerging and late stage companies to actively meet and learn from fellow executives, investors, bankers, financial advisors, and other professionals.
